ULU is revolting…anti-cuts campaigning across London

On Tuesday University of London Union senate voted unanimously, barring one abstention, to affiliate to Coalition of Resistance. We also passed unanimously the No to Fees, No to Cuts motion denouncing the Browne Review…1 day later 700 of us arrived at Lincolns Inn Fields to join Unionists, families, Artists and loads of other angry people to show our deepest opposition to the way this system is being run.

…see Soas Samba band at minute 7 or so and towards the very end see the rapturous applause when we reach the Trade Unionists at Lincolns Inn Fields.

Here are a few things that ULU members have been organising: (If you need help with putting on an event, need speakers, help with banner making or whatever please do contact me at president@ulu.lon.ac.uk)

Please do get involved with the campaign on your campuses. Just contact your Students’ Union and ask how to do so.

If your uni has not yet started contact them anyway and offer to help!

Please send us any reports, videos, photos of your own campaigns to campaigns@ulu.lon.ac.uk and I will add to this page and spread the news.

And last thing, here’s proof that University of London is out there 🙂
